K-Cinema at Home: Unstoppable (August 24 - 30)
synopsis
Once a legendary gangster, Dong-chul (Ma Dong-seok) has finally cleaned up his past as he tries to settle down and enjoy an ordinary life with his angelic wife Ji-soo (Song Ji-hyo). Although street smart, Dong-chul is far from financially savvy and is tricked into worse and worse decisions by predatory businessmen. When he returns home one day to find his place turned upside down, his wife missing, and demands for a ransom, he quickly realizes he's dealing with vicious criminals who prey on everyday people. But the predators are about to become the prey when they realize that this particular man with a past and a vengeance is unstoppable.
Director Kim Min-ho's 2018 action/crime thriller Unstoppable wowed audiences with it's compelling cast, debuting at No. 1 at the box office in Korea and going on to further success with international audiences and a strong 80% on RottenTomatoes.
