Parallel Dreams: Korean and Korean American Issues Through Film

Korean and Korean American films are becoming an increasingly visible part of American culture. This free public webinar series presents three Korean American directors of feature films or documentaries that showcase Korean American stories. The first webinar features the documentary Geographies of Kinship, which is available to view for free in advance, and a conversation with Director Deann Borshay Liem and Professor Eleana Kim of the University of California Irvine, moderated by Professor Susan Hwang of Indiana University.

This three-part webinar series is co-presented by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Institute for Korean Studies (IKS) at Indiana University.
