The Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art (NMAA) will host its Chuseok Family Festival on Saturday, October 7th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the NMAA. The event is co-presented by the Korean Cultural Center Washington, D.C. and other Korean cultural organizations.
Visitors can learn about both past and current traditions of Chuseok (Korean Harvest Festival), take pictures in traditional Korean clothing known as Hanbok and view a charye table display, which is a traditional feast prepared for a family’s ancestors. Enjoy special performances, food talks, programming from local community groups, and more.

11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Korean Photo Booth
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Korean Traditional Crafts and Coloring
1 p.m. and 3 p.m.: Gallery Tours of the NMAA's Korean Art collection
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Traditional Korean performances including Pansori, Samulnori, Ganggangsullae and more.
1 p.m. to 2 p.m. / 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Panel discussions
