K-Pop Academy DC is back for its eighth year! This unique three-week training and cultural exploration program presented by the Korean Cultural Center Washington, D.C. (KCCDC) allows Korean pop culture fans to experience the excitement of the Hallyu phenomenon firsthand.

Participants will work with professional vocal and dance trainers from Korea to learn the moves and sounds of the global K-Pop music sensation together with fellow fans, while also experiencing the passionate work ethic, sense of community, and creative energy that drives the industry.

K-Pop Academy DC 2023 will take place in person at the Korean Cultural Center Washington, D.C. from July 24 through August 12. Anyone is welcome to apply. While acceptance into the program is competitive, there’s no cost to apply and no cost to participate!

K-Pop Academy has grown into a global community program hosted by Korean Cultural Centers around the world. It offers fans of all nationalities the chance to experience the intensity, richness, and camaraderie of Korean pop culture firsthand. Joining K-Pop Academy doesn’t require special dance, vocal, or other experience—just a passion for learning!

Please understand that the process is competitive, and that due to strong interest only a portion of applicants are selected for participation. Participants are not selected based on individual skill but on maximizing the overall positive impact of the program.
