Virtual K-Artist

The Korean Cultural Center Washington, D.C. proudly presents KCCDC x Hillyer: Virtual K-Artist Talk Series, a new digital program connecting you with accomplished Korean artists from the comfort of home, through artists' weekly videos and a social media conversation with the public. Presented in collaboration with IA&A at Hillyer, each week will introduce a new artist through short-form personal videos released Fridays at 6 p.m. from May 8 to June 12, followed by a week-long virtual Q&A.

Each of the six artists, previously exhibited at the Korean Cultural Center Washington, D.C. and selected by IA&A at Hillyer, will explore their key themes, inspirations, creative process, and recent developments in their artwork. Viewers can share questions and comments with the artists directly by commenting on the Facebook event and Instagram post, and the artist will answer over the course of the week.

The program kicks off with acclaimed local artist Nara Park. For more on this artist, see below.
